All rules documented here apply to the OGFactions realm and only this realm on the Mineage network. Everything within the document can be changed without warning at any time by the administration team. Changes will be documented in our Discord server. Our staff team as well as players must keep themselves updated. Being unaware or oblivious to rules is not our responsibility and punishments will be enforced either way.
When playing on our network, you agree to follow the rules laid out in this rulebook. Failure to do so will lead to punishments as listed in the document.
Staff who are ScreenShare verified have the right to freeze you at any time and for any reason. If you do not comply with their requests then the punishments below will be given out. Staff will record ScreenShares so that they may provide proof if requested by the player and to provide proof if the player believes the staff member abused their power within the SS to do something such as IP grabbing, downloading viruses or anything along those lines.

Strikeable offences will only be dealt with by the Strike team and Management. While punishments listed below are a guideline, administrators and management may choose to increase/decrease punishments based on situations that occur. Any form of rule bending will result in severe punishment.
The Faction Strike system is our method of tracking and enforcing rule violations at the faction level. Understanding this system is essential for all faction members:

Advertising is not tolerated anywhere. This includes but is not limited to public chat, messages, faction descriptions or faction chat. It is the act of attempting to get other players to join another server through sending a link to that server's Discord, website or store. You may also not advertise any type of hacked client. You're allowed to speak about other server events. Recruitment for faction Discords is allowed.
Spamming excessively (anything of the same or similar content more than 5 times in a short amount of time) is not allowed, and the following punishments will apply to those that break this rule. If the chat flood consists of something that is not sent as a chat message, such as spamming commands, the punishment lengths below will apply but will be a ban instead of a mute.
Any negative comments towards people's sexuality or race will result in a punishment.
Telling someone to kill themselves is strictly disallowed.
The act of doxing, DDoSing or swatting will NOT be tolerated. You are also not allowed to post your "own" information, fake information, or any "public" information, not including first names. If anyone makes a threat towards you in private messages, please make a ticket on our Discord so a Sr. Mod+ can verify. Any sort of joking with malicious intentions about this matter is also punishable. Any discussion about the doxing of a player, whether past or present, is also strictly prohibited. Each instance of this rule is handled on a case by case basis, with the final decision left to the discretion of the senior administration/management team. All proof must be submitted within 48 hours of it happening.
If you suspect and have sufficient evidence that a player is attempting to DDoS or has DDoSed, PM it to a SrAdmin+ and they will act accordingly. We will not act on things done in OTHER Discords, other servers or PMs, to an extent. If it happens on the Mineage Discord or server then you will be punished. All cases of this will be taken case by case and ALL cases will be handled at Admin+ discretion. This includes messaging your friend in-game.
Using any kind of hacked client that gives you an unfair advantage is strictly disallowed.
You may not use alt accounts, alt factions or wilderness accounts to bypass any of the rules or to gain an unfair advantage. Alt accounts are only allowed for AFK-ing spawners and farms, and can only be part of a faction as an /f alt.
The use of an autoclicker (left click & right click) is NOT allowed. Debounce time lower than 10ms is subject to punishment and is anti-cheat enforced.
Freezing your Minecraft client is not allowed.
Using FlyBoost is allowed but only up to 2x your normal flying speed. Anything higher will result in the following punishments:
If players have not reported a bug and are abusing it to harm other players' experience or for personal gain, this violates our rules. If a faction uses a bug or exploit to gain access to a faction's base, this is also punishable. This includes trying to duplicate or exploit items, value or money.
Insiding or sabotaging your own faction in any way is strictly prohibited and subject to staff punishment when reported by the Faction Leader. This includes taking faction value, currency, gear, items, armor, tools, or spawners (note that any spawner placed in faction territory belongs to the faction, not the individual player), as well as griefing or damaging the base by mining holes, unclaiming warzone traps, leaking base coordinates, purposely getting your faction raided, or teleporting non-members and enemies into your base, farms, or cannon boxes. If a faction conducts or profits from an inside, they will be required to fully compensate the victimized faction for all lost value and damages.
You may only have 9 chunks worth of trap claims per world.
If you get frozen by staff you have to join the SS Waiting Room on our Discord server within 3 minutes and follow staff instructions. Failing to do so will result in a 7 day ban.
You are not allowed to use any kind of scripts to automate farming/grinding of value. Using the F11 trick to farm cane with less user input is allowed. You can't AFK F11 (2m). You are not allowed to use multiple accounts/alts to F11 farm. You're not allowed to automate farming/grinding value at all. You must be on your PC/laptop while grinding. You are not allowed to abuse cane fast growth.
If you are banned, you are not allowed to play on alts or other accounts. If a blacklisted player is evading, the account they are on will also be blacklisted and the faction will receive strikes.
Bunkers raiding has no cannon technology or speed limits. There are no cannon limitations for bunkers, with the exception of cannon tech that harms the server. Cannoning in this world is exempt from all cannon / raiding rules with the exception of cannons that impact server performance. Raid claims for bunkers also cannot exceed an area of 32 chunks.
Printer is not allowed on the OG Factions realm. Additionally, the use of Easy Place or any modification that allows placing dispensers without crouching, or anything similar, is strictly disallowed. This is heavily prohibited and may be enforced server side.
Cannons cannot shoot above Y254.
TNT blows up lava.
The Mineage staff team reserves the right to modify these rules as necessary and to handle situations not explicitly covered by these rules. The primary goal is to maintain a fair, competitive, and enjoyable Factions experience for all players.
